S3: EP1 TWGR - Patch 5.2 The Thunder King, Tier 15 PvE Sets, Season 13 PvP Sets, & More!

What's up guy and girl players of WoW. Tarou here bring you an all new video & blog post launching season 3 of my Weekly WoW Report and renaming it to Tarou's Weekly Gaming Report.

I have a lot in store for all of you in season 3 and I hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as I enjoy making it. Over the next few weeks I'll be molding this season with your feedback of what you like, don't like, and want to see.

This week we'll mostly cover the PTR for Patch 5.2.

In PvE news for Patch 5.2, Blizzard has released a Teaser trailer for The Thunder King raid. Which showcases the areas involved and some of the new mobs and mounts. It looks pretty awesome and leaves a lot up to the imagination.

Immediate reaction from players was pretty horrible as most begged to ask Blizz the simple quest, why bother with this trailer? Well, like D3Genius pointed out, it's just a teaser and you honestly can never expect much from a teaser. However, this different approach by the WoW team blind-sided the majority of players who expected to see an epic trailer.

If you haven't seen the new tier sets for the next patch, here they are and not all available to see yet. Some are still being worked on and haven't made their way into the files. Sometimes when I look at tier sets, I think to myself did the designers play musical desks or assignements or something. Ok guys, we need new ideas for Druid and Warlock sets. Louis and Chris you guys switch this patch. Seriously look at the Druid's set. I think it looks cool but, it looks more like it belongs on a Warlock. I feel the most for the Warriors though and hope they make some drastic changes to the gear or compensate by adding some badass shoulders and helm which aren't available yet for us to look at so maybe they're doing just that.

For PvP we have tons of changes coming in the Thunder King patch and beyond. First let's take a look at all the new gear rolling out with Season 13. Most of the sets look pretty awesome and I'm especially happy with the faction themed colors of red and blue. Factions use to have different colors in classic WoW and I'm glad to see that being brought back. I couldn't find out what the Rogue pieces look like so I had to leave that one out. Deathknight's pants are also missing but atleast this gives you a general idea of what the PvP gear will look like for Patch 5.2.

Getting this gear and previous season gear will be easier in the future as Blizzard rolls out some new changes to help players who have just started their grind or slacked off for weeks. The 2200 rating is being removed from all PvP gear including the weapon. You'll just need to earn 7,250 Conquest Points during the season to be able to buy the Tier 2 weapon. There's going to be a catch-up mechanic as well that will give players who start later in the season more Conquest points for the week by 1,000 points per week. So say it's the 8th week and Bob decided to start PvP'ing. He'll have a bonus cap of 8,000 points plus his normal weekly rating based cap.

There's a lot more info and I'll talk about in another video releasing in a few days.

This week there isn't a Q&A but I want you to leave your questions for next week in the comments below.

Finally, in Gaming news, tomorrow three games are set to release.

The Cave – January 22
Naughty Bear: Double Trouble – January 22
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch – January 22
