MoP Cooking Gold Guide: 9,900g per day! Best Gold Making Profession Open to Everyone!

What's up guy and girl players of WoW. Tarou here and I'm bringing all of you wonderful players a video about making gold with Cooking.

Yes, I said Cooking and you're going to be in amazement at how good it is for making gold in MoP. I won't cover everything in this video and written guide but, enough to get you started.

The first thing you need to do is make a food buying list using the Auction House addon Auctionator. You'll need to search for the foods like I'm doing here. To make things easier you can get the list from below.

20x Raw Tiger Steak
20x Mushan Ribs
20x Raw Turtle Meat
20x Raw Crab Meat
20x Wildfowl Breast
20x Raw Crocolisk Belly
20x Jade Lungfish
20x Giant Mantis Shrimp
20x Emperor Salmon
20x Redbelly Mandarin
20x Tiger Gourami
20x Jewel Danio
20x Reef Octopus
20x Krasarang Paddlefish
60x Golden Carp
100x Green Cabbage
100x Juicycrunch Carrot
100x Mogu Pumpkin
100x Scallions
100x Red Blossom Leek
100x Witchberries
100x Jade Squash
100x Striped Melon
100x Pink Turnip
100x White Turnip

The above mats are what's required for Bundle of Groceries.

Each time you search, click add items to your created food shopping list. Once you have them all added simply hit the 'Search for All Items' button and watch the addon do its magic.

Next, we'll buy up any cheap meat or fish. We'll also be buying vegetables and fruits if the price is cheap enough for us to flip them at a good profit. For doing this you'll need a rediculous amount of bag space so dump your stuff in the bank and go with empty bags to the Halfhill Market in Valley of the Four Winds.

After we loot the bought auctions we'll first make some Fish Cakes with the Golden Carp we got. These are used in the Cloud Serpent dailys and are quite popular and decently profitable.

Next we'll buy some containers to make Bundles of Groceries. You have to complete the series of cooking quests in Halfhill including Preserving Freshness in order to have the option of turning these into Ironpaw tokens like we'll be doing here. You'll also need to have atleast 525 cooking so you can complete each of the Way of the... quests. Start with Way of the Brew. These aren't hard to complete and instead of using the Auction House for all of the mats, you can use the tokens you receive to buy them from Nam Ironpaw who is just next to the Cooking trainer.

For the repeatable turn-in quest you need the below items for one Bundle of Groceries:
20x Raw Tiger Steak
20x Mushan Ribs
20x Raw Turtle Meat
20x Raw Crab Meat
20x Wildfowl Breast
20x Raw Crocolisk Belly
20x Jade Lungfish
20x Giant Mantis Shrimp
20x Emperor Salmon
20x Redbelly Mandarin
20x Tiger Gourami
20x Jewel Danio
20x Reef Octopus
20x Krasarang Paddlefish
60x Golden Carp
100x Green Cabbage
100x Juicycrunch Carrot
100x Mogu Pumpkin
100x Scallions
100x Red Blossom Leek
100x Witchberries
100x Jade Squash
100x Striped Melon
100x Pink Turnip
100x White Turnip

The above mats are what's required for Bundle of Groceries. Just like in the video, buy the empty bundles from Merchant Cheng.

After having your bundles made, you can take them to Nam Ironpaw who is just to the right of the Cooking Trainer in Halfhill Village.

To make mass turn-ins easier, go to your keybinds and add a hotkey for interacting with an npc. Then, make a macro with this in it:

/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1);CompleteQuest();GetQuestReward()

Hit your interact with npc hotkey and then the above macro three times. Rinse and repeat to mass turn in items very fast.

Thinking back at our shopping list we made in Auctionator, you can use your tokens to buy the Cooking mats that will net you the most amount of gold. 100 Year Soy Sauce is usually the easiest to sell but may net less than other items. You also want to mix things up or you won't sell through everything quickly. The mats I'm buying may not be worth it on your server so make sure you check the prices for your own economy. Just as an example if 20 meat cost you 50g and you can sell soy sauce for 100g, you'll have made 50g for just swapping mats.

You can also do dailys for some extra cash and get Tiller rep at the same time. If you want more ways to get Tiller rep fast, check my website for a guide. The quests are extremely easy and take barely any time to complete. All together they net about 300g in less than 15 minutes.

On top of that once you have your farm maxed out and exalted, you can plant 16 Songbell which nets you 16 Mote of Harmonys equally approximately 400g in Golden Lotus. It just adds up and up for focusing on this one small farming town to make some dailys cash.

Alright with all that done it's time to list everything. Here again I'll use Auctionator. If you notice I do a lot of overcutting. I'm still undercutting some of the items but I'm listing higher than than non-full stacks unless they're close to the full stack price. No reason to undercut 3 or 8 or 9 items stacks when whoever buys the mats is going to need 20, 50, or more in most cases. I put everything up for 12 hours and periodically check for undercuts.

+ Fish Cakes x 190 @ 11.79g = 2,240g
- Golden Carp x 380 @ 4.2g = 1,596g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 644g

+ Turn-ins for Groceries = 42g
+ Daily Gold = 151g (One Day) + 155g (Ironpaw Token)
+ Songbell: Mote of Harmony x 16 = 400g (125g Golden Lotus Factor Pricing)
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 748g

+ Rice Flour x 3 = 767g
+ 1 Year Old Soy Sauce x 3 = 467g
+ Black Pepper x 2 = 453g
Cost = Ironpaw Tokens x 8 = 640g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 1,047g

Scallions Relist Sales x 125 = 1,478g
Cost = 125 @ 2.1g = 262.5g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 1,215.5g

Red Blossom Leek Sales x 175 = 3,077g
Cost = Ironpaw Tokens x 7 = 560g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 2,517g

Witchberries Sales x 150 = 2,344g
Cost = Ironpaw Tokens x 6 = 480g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 1,864g

Pink Turnip Relist Sales x 300 = 2,828g
Cost = 300 @ 3.2g = 960g
------------------------------------------------
Total Profit = 1,868g

------------------------------------------------
Grand Total Sales = 14,402g
Grand Total Cost = 4,499g
Grand Total Profit = 9,903g in 1 day!

It's been a little over a day and a lot had sold. Including the dailys, motes, and sold items we brought in 14,402 gold minus 4,499 in mat cost giving us a total of 9,903 gold in pure sweet profit. That's insanely good when compared to any other profession and it only takes less than an hour to do. You do have to do some minor work and quests to get to this point but nothing hard for any player.

Well that's it and thanks for watching. If you haven't yet, please subscribe, visit tarouwowguides.com, and share this video.
