WoW First Aid Guide 1-525 Leveling: Starting Out

First Aid Leveling 1-525 Guide SQ

First off, I'm sure you're wondering why in the world would you need First Aid right. Well, come Cataclysm First Aid will actually be worth having and most everyone will want to get it. In preperation for that, here is a simple guide to help you level it as fast and cheap as possible.

  • To get started you'll want to pick up some mats from the Auction House. Here is a list of all the mats you'll need:

    180 x [Linen Cloth]
    160 x [Wool Cloth]
    160 x [Silk Cloth]
    120 x [Mageweave Cloth]
    100 x [Runecloth]
    80 x [Netherweave Cloth]
    151 x [Frostweave Cloth]
    270 x [Embersilk Cloth]

  • The total cost for 1-525 on average is around 1,400-1,600g and should only take you 30-40 minutes. Pretty easy right. Your server may be cheaper or expensive depending on its economy but, you do have some options though and can always buy more of an item if the next cloth to use is extremely expensive. For instance, Linen Cloth is typically cheap on most servers ranging from 20s a stack up to 3g. Wool Cloth on the other hand is usually a rip off costing 10g to 30g a stack on most servers. If your server is expensive buy extra Linen Cloth otherwise stick to the guide and level First Aid as fast as possible without worrying about the cost.
  • Alright, after you get all your mats, head to a guard and ask where the First Aid trainer is.
  • First Aid Trainers:
    Arnok - Orgrimmar
    Shaina Fuller - Stormwind
    Olisarra the Kind - Dalaran

WoW First Aid Guide 1-525 Leveling: First Aid Skill Levels 1-300

  • Once you find the First Aid trainer, train Apprentice First Aid and begin making Linen Bandages up to skill level 40. From there, train Heavy Linen Bandages and make those up to skill level 80. At this point you can continue making Heavy Linen Bandages until they grey out at 100 or move on to Wool Bandages if you don't mind spending the extra gold or the price for Wool Cloth isn't super expensive on your server. You can also check your server for Small Venom Sacs and make Anti-Venom a bit to avoid buying Wool Cloth as well. None were on the Auction House so I'll just continue and make Wool Bandages up to skill level 115. From there, train Heavy Wool Bandage and make those from 115 up to level 125, train Expert First Aid and continue making Wool Bandages until skill level 150. Then, train Silk Bandage and make those until skill level 180. Next, train Heavy Silk Bandages and make those until skill level 200 where you'll learn Artisan First Aid and continue on making Heavy Silk Bandages until 210. At 210, learn Mageweave Bandage and make them until skill level 240 where you'll learn Heavy Mageweave Bandage and make those until reaching 260. At 260, train Runecloth Bandage and make those if it's cheaper for you. I have some leftover Mageweave so I decided to keep making Heavy Mageweave Bandages until it greens out at 270. It's up to you what you want to do though. From 270, start making Runecloth Bandages until 290. Then, train Heavy Runecloth Bandage and make it up to skill level 300. At this point, you'll want to leave your faction's major city and head to Dalaran. You could of actually started in Dalaran but the downside is if you were off a little on the lower level mats you'd have to go back to your major city and then back to Dalaran.

  • Ok, so once in Dalaran you can ask a guard to direct you to the First Aid trainer or simply go to this point on your map. Then, speak to the trainer and learn Master First Aid and Netherweave Bandage. At this point, you can continue to make Runecloth Bandages up to 320, if two stacks of Runecloth are cheaper than one stack of Netherweave Cloth. Otherwise, use up the Runecloth you have and switch to Netherweave Bandages. Make Netherweave Bandages until skill level 340 or so and learn Heavy Netherweave Bandages. From there, make Heavy Netherweave Bandages until 350 and learn Grand Master First Aid along with Frostweave Bandages. Here you have a choice to either make Heavy Netherweave Bandages or Frostweave Bandages. I have extra Netherweave and Frostweave is pretty expensive so I'll continue to make Heavy Netherweave Bandages until 365 or so. At 365 or so, switch to making Frostweave Bandages until you hit skill level 400.
  • At 400, see the First Aid trainer and learn Heavy Frostweave Bandages and make them until skill level 425.
  • At First Aid skill level 425 see the trainer again and learn Illustrious Grand Master First Aid and [Embersilk Bandage].

WoW First Aid Guide 1-525 Leveling: First Aid Skill Levels 425-525

  • 425-475: 80 x [Embersilk Bandage].
    Required Materials:

    80 x [Embersilk Cloth].
  • 475-525: 95 x [Heavy Embersilk Bandage].
    Required Materials:

  • Once you hit 525 in First Aid, grats yourself for the whole 30-40 minutes it took you to level from 1-525. Yeah, it really is that easy.
  • Finally, anything you have left over in mats and bandages, send to alt, vendor, or list it on the Auction House. Believe it or not some people will buy bandages.
