Icecrown Citadel 10m: Heroic Blood Queen Lana'thel - Overview

The Heroic mode for Blood-Queen Lana'thel in my opinion is an easier fight than the Blood Prince Council as long as your raid doesn't mess up bites. In this guide I will only cover what is important to Heroic mode and anything else you should honestly know. Depending on the class, gear, and players' abilities you'll want 2 healers, 2 tanks, and the rest dps. As for the positioning, have healers stand in the center so they can reach everyone and range along both sides.

• The biggest differences between normal and heroic are Blood-Queen has an increased health pool, a shortened enrage timer, and Shroud of Sorrow does more damage.
• In heroic mode, to make sure you beat the enrage timer, it's very important not to get mind-controlled by a bite screw up. If you can't bite your fellow DPS, bite whoever, even a healer to save a wipe.
• For the air phase make sure to spread out and have Shaman drop a tremor totem and Priests Fear Ward to reduce some of the damage from Bloodbolt Whirl.
• After all your DPS are bite, pop Bloodlust or Heroism and nuke the Blood Queen down.

  Drop fear totems/cast Fear Ward in air phase
  Avoid excess damage
  Pop Bloodlust or Heroism when all DPS are bite
